The park itself is absolutely beautiful. There were 9 of us staying 2 nights, so we rented 2 cabins and pitched a tent. The cabins have been remodeled, are comfortable, and have great linens. But the refrigerators were in need of repair, or replacement. Neither of the refrigerators kept our food cold - not even water bottles! And the freezers were somewhat cold; one freezer could only keep ice frozen but the other freezer couldn't even do that. We had to throw out over $80 worth of meat and perishables. At check-out, when I informed the lodge check-in clerk that the refrigerators needed repair or replacement, she just looked at me as if I was bothering her. Really? We paid $484 for 2 nights in two cabins, plus an additional $22 pet fee for a 4-month-old puppy. It would have made our experience 5 stars if the refrigerators worked as they should have.
The park is amazing, but the staff isn't quite the same.
Beautiful location. Nice cabins. The cool water is perfect in the hot Oklahoma summers.
